Blisters that form on the feet can be debilitating. If you suffer from blisters on your feet then you might find that it is difficult to go about your normal life. Even walking can become a painful chore. For the most part, blisters are caused by pressure.
» Causes of Blisters
Most of the time, blisters on the feet are caused by a combination of friction, pressure and repetitive motions. If your shoe doesn't fit right or your sock has slipped down or even if you have a pebble in your shoe, the repeated rubbing can help cause a blister to develop. Sunburns, general inflammation and other systemic conditions can cause blisters as well. Certain products can help to prevent or alleviate blisters. Your first line of defense should always be prevention and a good pair of comfortable shoes can go a long way in making sure that you do not develop blisters.

» Blister Prevention and Remedies
If you have blisters on your feet then you should try to keep the entire area as clean and protected as possible. Discontinue the activity that was the cause of the blister. For help with blister pain you can soak your foot in a tub of warm water and Epsom salts. Try to avoid popping the blisters. The skin on the top of the blister actually helps to prevent infection.
